A Few of my previous "sporty" vehicles.
Mark II RS Mexico, excellent car, fully equiped for nightime Plot and Bash Rallies. Was nicked one day and found stripped of parts. I took the insurance money and sold for scrap, Should have kept it.
NG TF Kit Car, All work carried out by myself, donor was a rotten MG Roadster, I uprated engine, fitted Spax Suspenion, was fun building it, it drove and handled well, was quick, but wind noise and buffeting was terrible due to flat windscreen.
Fiat 131 Mirafiori Sport, I had one like this, in orange, again uprated for Plot and Bash rallying with Roll Bar, Terratrip, Corbrau Seats, plumbed in extinguisher, slight mods to twin cam engine, adjustable Olio suspension, and fitted spotlights. Was a quick car, but prone to rust, another one I should have hung on to, as they are so rare now.
I ran a Triumph Dolomite Sprint for a couple of years, it was Mimosa Yellow, was quite rusty, and had cylinder head problems and the overdrive did not work. I nursed it along for 2 years before getting rid. This my first ever Triumph.
Some earlier cars owned where a Stilleto Imp, this my first ever car, was in lousy condition, this was followed by a Hillman Hunter, an Austin Marina TC, not a bad car despite its reputation, a Nissan Stanza, equipment and reliability wise this was a massive step-up from the previous vehicles.
More modern Transport has seen 2 Vauxhall Cavaliers, A Ford Sierra Sapphire, truly a really crap and boring car, A Vauxhall Vectra, did all it was asked to do with no problems till it reached 140k miles, then detioriated badly. Current Daily Drivers are a 2L Mondeo Zetec and a Citreon Xsara.
Car Models - A few of my car models, mainly from TR7 interest or related to previous employments.
