This site is intended to provide information about restoration of my Triumph TR7's and other interests, I currently own 2 TR7's 1 DHC, 1 FHC Manual, all of the 2 Litre variety.
My Persian AquaTriumph TR7 2.0 Ltr FHC - The Result of a 1 year long Restoration and my Cashmere Gold Triumph TR7 2.0 Ltr DHC - The Result of a 2 1/2 year long restoration.
My interest with Triumph TR7's began in 1976 when I was a motor rally fan. I attended the RAC Rally in Yorkshire, one stage I watched was held at Harewood House, near Leeds on the Hill Climb course. A new car to the rally was the British Leyland Triumph TR7 driven by Tony Pond, which stood out from the usual procession of Mk11 Escorts, in white and blue the car looked futuristic and spectacular, this car had the Dolomite Sprint 16 Valve 2 Litre Engine and from the outset seemed well matched to the Escorts. I followed rallying for years, always supporting the TR7 V8 of the much under estimated Tony Pond.

Unfortunately, I could not own a TR7 at the time, as a new car was out of my reach. The nearest I ever got was a clapped out Dolly Sprint, with a warped head that liked to mix oil and water.
I eventually got around to owning a TR7 when I bought a V reg convertible in 2000, intention been to do a quick repair and MOT. Unfortunately, as closer investigation revealed, I had been stitched up by a very good botch job, it had even fooled my motor trade friend who I took along for advice, complete with magnets and various poking items.

This is what you call a Pristine Engine Bay, well worth the effort.
